Courtney Trujillo is president of SR Watt, where she leads strategic plans for the firm’s portfolio. Her extensive expertise lies in bringing value to under-valued commercial assets having created a legacy of top performing commercial properties in her prior role as vice president for Watt Properties.
Courtney is valued for her extensive commercial real estate experience having managed commercial retail portfolios for companies such as Burnham Pacific Properties, Center Trust Properties, Summit Commercial and Red Mountain Retail Group. Highlights of her career include executing the strategic plan of assembling portfolios of grocery-anchored centers through acquisition to disposition, completing several retail redevelopment projects and overseeing the construction and leasing of a 1M SF regional shopping mall.
Courtney holds a B.S. in Finance from Virginia Tech, is an active participant in ICSC, ULI and NMHC. She supports National Charity League, Rainbow Shelter, Toberman House, Boys & Girls Club and is an active member of the National Charity League.
Bella Cabanilla brings considerable experience to her role as Controller for SR Watt. She previously served as assistant controller with Watt Properties. She spent 15 years with Watt starting as senior accountant. Her experience also includes work with 3D Investments as controller and Cohen Asset Management as accounting manager. Bella holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from the University of Northern Philippines.
Michael Lyons is SR Watt’s Investment Manager playing a pivotal role in driving the company’s investment strategy and ensuring the financial success of its business plans. He is actively involved in every facet of the portfolio including acquisitions, divestitures, financing, and asset management.
Prior to joining SR Watt, Michael spent two years working as an Investment Associate for Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners, a Washington DC-based affordable housing developer, and worked with CBRE in their Debt and Structured Finance team. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland where he was a member of QUEST Honors Program and a portfolio manager for the Senbet Fund.
